MYCPE ONE Review 2026: Pricing, Security and Fit for CPA Firms
MYCPE ONE (formerly Entigrity) tops our ranking with 9.2 out of 10. Here is what it charges, what it claims on security, where its own pages disagree, and who should pick it.

MYCPE ONE is a good choice for US CPA firms that want dedicated offshore tax and accounting staff at a published price. It is the only firm in our ranking that publishes both an hourly rate ($11 to start) and a SOC 2 Type II claim, and it reports more than 3,000 team members across Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Mumbai plus the Philippines. Its weak spot is consistency: its own pages give client counts of 725+, 1,000+ and 3,000+, cite two versions of ISO 27001, and describe the minimum contract both as 3 to 6 months and as no long-term commitment. None of that is a reason to rule it out, but it is a reason to confirm every term in writing.
What is MYCPE ONE?
MYCPE ONE is an offshore staffing provider for accounting firms, formerly called Entigrity, that places dedicated accountants, tax preparers and bookkeepers with US firms.
It sits under the MYCPE brand, which is also known for a continuing-education subscription for CPAs. The staffing site says MYCPE ONE is a US company, lists offices in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Mumbai, and elsewhere claims 40+ offices across 20+ cities in India and the Philippines. It also names 45+ BDO Alliance firms and 40 Top 200 accounting firms among its clients. Services cover day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping and cleanups, tax preparation and review, sales and use tax, audit support, payroll and virtual CFO support.
How much does MYCPE ONE cost?
Dedicated staff start at $11 an hour, which is $22,880 a year for one full-time person, or about $26,000 if you add $1.50 an hour for full-day overlap with your time zone.
| Item | Published | Yearly at 2,080 hours |
|---|---|---|
| Starting rate, dedicated staff | From $11 per hour | $22,880 |
| Full-day overlap with your time zone | About $1 to $1.50 per hour extra | $2,080 to $3,120 |
| Billing | Weekly, actual hours worked | Not applicable |
| Replacement | Within 30 days, no fee | Not applicable |
Expect experienced preparers and reviewers to cost more than the starting rate. To compare an actual quote with a US hire, put it into the offshore accountant cost calculator.
How secure is MYCPE ONE?
On paper, strong: it claims SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 and lists GDPR and HIPAA. The ISO version is stated two ways (2022 and 2013), so ask for the current certificate.
For tax work, security evidence matters more than usual because you will be collecting Section 7216 consents that tell clients both firms keep adequate safeguards. Ask MYCPE ONE for its latest SOC 2 Type II report under NDA, check the period it covers, and confirm staff work inside your systems through a virtual desktop with downloads and printing blocked.
What engagement models does MYCPE ONE offer?
Two: dedicated staffing, where you interview, test and manage a person who works only for you, and outsourcing, where its professionals take on work on demand. Dedicated staff come full-time, part-time (half-day) or temporary.
MYCPE ONE recommends full-time dedicated hires for most accounting roles. Its standard shift runs 3 AM to 1 PM in your US time zone, which it says gives three to four hours of overlap with your office. It offers a two-week free-look period for new staff and says about one in ten candidates ends up being replaced.
Where does MYCPE ONE fall short?
Mainly in how consistently it describes itself. The service itself looks complete, but several facts change from page to page.
- Client counts: 725+, 1,000+ and 3,000+ firms, depending on the page.
- ISO 27001: the homepage says 2022, the FAQ says 2013.
- Minimum term: “3 months temporary and 6 months permanent” on one page, “no long-term commitments” on another.
- Notice period: two months in one place, three months for replacements in another.
These are the reasons its claim-consistency score is 2 out of 5. Everything else scored 4 or 5.
How did MYCPE ONE score on each criterion?
It scored 5 out of 5 on CPA-firm fit, security evidence, pricing transparency and bench depth, 4 on engagement terms and 2 on claim consistency, for 9.2 overall.
| Criterion | Weight | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| CPA-firm fit | 25% | 5/5 | Built around US CPA firms, with tax, audit support and CAS roles |
| Security evidence | 25% | 5/5 | SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 claimed in plain text |
| Pricing transparency | 15% | 5/5 | Publishes a starting rate and overlap surcharge |
| Bench depth | 15% | 5/5 | 3,000+ team members |
| Engagement terms | 10% | 4/5 | Free-look period and free replacement; minimum term unclear |
| Claim consistency | 10% | 2/5 | Client counts, ISO version and term differ across pages |
| Total | 100% | 9.2/10 |
How does MYCPE ONE compare with the alternatives?
MYCPE ONE wins on published pricing and scale. QX Accounting Services is the better pick if you want a managed review layer, and CapActix if you want a trial before hiring.
| Firm | Score | Pricing | Security | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MYCPE ONE | 9.2 | Starting at $11 per hour, billed weekly on hours worked | SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 (site cites both the 2022 and 2013 versions) | Dedicated tax and accounting staff at the lowest published rate |
| QX Accounting Services | 8.2 | Not published; FTE and per-return models offered | SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 | A managed team with a built-in second review |
| CapActix | 7.0 | Not published | ISO 27001:2022, AICPA SOC 2 Type II, ISO 9001:2015 | Trying a team before you commit |
| Meru Accounting | 6.1 | Bookkeeper from $10/hr; tax preparer from $11/hr; complex accounting $11 to $15/hr | No certification mentioned | Clear hourly pricing for small firms |
Who should choose MYCPE ONE?
Choose MYCPE ONE if you want one to five dedicated tax preparers or accountants, you have someone in the US to review their work, and you value a known hourly price.
Look elsewhere if you need the provider to review work for you (QX’s managed model fits better), or if you want to test with a short trial before any commitment (CapActix). Either way, add the questions from our pre-signing checklist to your first call.
Disclosure. MYCPE ONE runs a public referral partner program that pays a commission on referred clients. Offshore Shortlist may take part in it. That does not change the score, which comes from the published evidence above. See how we make money.
What else do CPA firms ask?
Is MYCPE ONE the same company as Entigrity?
Yes. MYCPE ONE describes itself as “formerly Entigrity,” and entigrity.com now redirects to MYCPE ONE’s offshore accounting page. Booking links on the site still use the Entigrity name.
How much does MYCPE ONE charge per hour?
MYCPE ONE says dedicated staff start at $11 an hour, billed weekly on hours actually worked. It adds that full-day overlap with your time zone costs about $1 to $1.50 an hour more. A full-time person at $11 for 2,080 hours comes to $22,880 a year.
Does MYCPE ONE have SOC 2 Type II?
Its website says it is SOC 2 Type II compliant and shows a “SOC 2 Type-I-II Certified” image. It also claims ISO 27001, though one page names the 2022 version and another the 2013 version. Ask for the SOC 2 Type II report and the current ISO certificate before signing.
Does MYCPE ONE require a long-term contract?
Its pages disagree. One says there is a minimum of 3 months for temporary staff and 6 months for permanent hires; another says there are no long-term commitments. It also mentions a 2-month notice period. Get the minimum term and notice period written into your contract.
What are the best alternatives to MYCPE ONE?
In our ranking, QX Accounting Services (8.2) is the strongest alternative if you want a managed team with a second reviewer, and CapActix (7.0) is the easiest to trial. Meru Accounting is worth a look if you want a published price list.
