How Offshore Shortlist Makes Money

Plain answers on how this site is funded.

Offshore Shortlist is free for the businesses that use it. We may earn a referral fee when a firm we introduce signs with an offshore provider, and we may sell clearly labeled sponsorships. Neither changes a score or a ranking position.

When do we earn a fee?

When you ask us for a shortlist, or click a link to a provider, and then sign with that provider. Some providers run public referral programs that pay a share of what you are billed.

If a page mentions a provider that pays us, the page says so near the mention. Links that could earn us money carry a rel="sponsored" attribute, in line with the FTC’s guidance on endorsements.

What will we never do?

  • Sell a ranking position or change a score for money.
  • Hide a paid relationship.
  • Share your details with a provider you did not ask to be introduced to.
  • Publish testimonials or reviews we cannot verify.

What happens when you request a shortlist?

We match your request to up to three providers, send you their details and our notes, and introduce you only if you say yes.

See the methodology for how scores work and the privacy policy for how we handle your information.
